Barrington Dickson Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08
I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.

I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family - NOT REGULATORS! Public investments should be available to all the public, not just the privileged! I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks.
I should be able to choose my own investments, public investments are for the public and not just the privileged. Leveraged funds have been a fundamental strategy for me and my family to achieve wealth.
I do not agree with the regulations being considered for ETFs like Sqqq, Sdow and the comparable!
I am contacting you to express my opposition to notice 22-08. I have been investing in leveraged funds for well over a decade, and find it inappropriate for you to limit my freedom to do so without undue interference from you. These are my assets, and I believe it is well within the scope of my prerogatives to decide how to invest them.
I enjoy the ability to invest in leveraged funds--it's one reason I've been a successful investor these last three years. I understand both the downside and the flexibility that this affords me. I want the restrictions to remain the same, allowing me the freedom to invest how I want.
I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. They help me protect (hedge) my investments or seek enhanced returns for my family and myself. What is more information, according to the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged class. Please consider my suggestion seriously! Thank you!
It is important that the pending increased regulation of "complex products" is not passed or put into place by FINRA.
I should be able to buy leveraged and inverse funds. People buy options. Options are very risk. I do not have time to do research on options. Leveraged and inverse funds are good tools to improve my investment return. Regulators should not set limitations for individuals to buy leveraged and inverse funds.
I am writing to urge you not to restrict my investment options. I should not be penalized because some naive people refuse to educate themselves about so called " complex investments". If they don't understand what they are doing they should not invest. These investments are generally labelled as far as additional risk involved. I actually use options and inverse funds to reduce risk. I feel these should be readily available tools. Leverage is a basic principal of investing.
