I'm an independent investor, and have been investing for 40 years. I would appreciate it if the federal government would mind there own business. The federal government can't even manage themselves let alone attempting to control independent investors.

Dear FINRA,

I heard that regulations are being considered by FINRA to make certain popular complex investments unavailable to by bought by general public, including leveraged and inverse funds.

Ive been using leveraged ETFs in particular for long time as investment and trading vehicles and Im very concerned that myself and other market participants will no longer be able to buy those ETFs. I personally know at least a dozen of other traders who have been using those ETFs as part of their trading strategies for years.

I completely disagree with the imposed new regulations I shouldnt have to go through special hoops to invest in products. Leveraged products are important tools for my financial situation to achieve my goals and I should be allowed to invest in them with as much it as little as possible whenever I want. Do not limit my ability to invest in leveraged or inverse financial products. You are limiting my equal rights to financial freedom and choices.

as investor and trader, we are aware of risks associate with trades, all trades. ETF including inverse etf are essential tooks we employ to adjust complicate, dynamic market conditions. I oppose restrictions to such etfs. thanks

I urge you to reconsider any attempt to limit the available investment choices to the citizens of this country. We work hard for our money and have the right to invest in the assets of our choosing in order to grow and preserve our wealth.

I object to the possibility of restricting my investment choices. I fully understand leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. For years leveraged and inverse funds have been important to my investment strategy and I would like it to stay that way.

Leveraged funds are an important aspect of my families investment strategy. I understand the risk. Those of us with long investment horizons should not be limited in our investment choices. Perhaps warnings should provided to investors but options should not be limited.

A move to block the public from investing in leveraged and inverse investments comes across as yet another disturbing example of moves to give the financial elite greater opportunities than the average person. Rather than making the excuse that you are trying to protect the public from themselves, it gives the financial elite who would continue to have access to these sorts of investments greater ability to take advantage of the public with respect to market moves.

Dear FINRA,

Obviously the leveraged products you are considering restricting are demonstrably popular, and therefore unless you believe that most investors are irrational, these products must be serving some useful purpose. Please do not restrict these tools, as they are an important part of my personal investment protocol. Even reducing their availability to the investing public could destroy their utility if their liquidity is significantly lowered.

My ability to use leveraged funds is absolutely crucial to my investment strategies. I've been using them for 10+ years and looking forward to continue doing so for many years to come without restrictions. They do have a different learning curve vs other type of investments so I agree on letting people know about the increased risks but ultimately it should be up to them to decide since there's no such thing as a risk-free investment in today's market.
