I am aware of the risks related in investments such as leveraged etfs and other types of structured etfs, mutual funds, and ETNs. They have been part of my investment strategy for many years.

This type of investment opportunity should be available to everyone and not just a few, higher wealthy investors. I know the risks and I have experienced gains and losses with this type of leveraged investing. Taking this away from anyone is taking away freedoms and not helping reduce risk for an individual investor.

I have been investing for 50 yrs. in all kinds of public investments and oppose any restrictions on my ability to invest in legal public investments.

I should be able to utilize all of my OWN personal resources and education, to invest as I wish, at my own risk. We don't need government to police or determine where I'm qualified to risk my own hard earned money. Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategy, and it would be an unfair advantage to the larger investors to take that away from us little guys.

It is important to maintain freedom in this country and to allow investors to continue investing into all leveraged and inverse funds, for example as offered by ProShares.

It is the investor - and not the regulator - should be able to decide where to invest. That is the foundation of the market economy.

Investor does not need any special measures imposed on them, such as passing tests. We are not in a middle school anymore.

Furthermore, leveraged and inverse funds are critical for many investment strategies and for reducing investment risks.

I understand the risks that I take when I purchase Proshares investments and I believe I should have the right to make that decision on my own.

HI, I am a knowledgeable individual investor and use leveraged and inverse ETFs strategically when needed. I use them to hedge and take advantage of special situations such as oversold or overbought market conditions. Please don't restrict my ability to buy/sell them whenever I need to. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged, even if those investments are leveraged.
In my opinion they're incredibly important for retirees who need to ride out bear markets while using leverage to raise cash for living expenses.
