I am already anti-capitalist. I despise the system which rewards not merit, but inherited wealth. I cannot possibly fathom why you would want to make my job so much easier- you understand that by depriving average citizens of the right to invest, you are pushing them directly into my waiting arms? I know I shouldnt interrupt my enemy while he is making a mistake, but this? I almost pity the short sightedness of a policy like this. Please, by all means, keep putting nails in capitalisms coffin. I love it.
This is the United States of America. I have the right to make my own decisions, and I should have the same rights as everyone else. Who is the federal government to judge the capacity of others and decide who is or is not worthy of making their own choices ... you are NOT GOD!
UNTIL WHEN THE GOVERNMENT HAS TO BE INVOLVED IN THE PERSONAL AFFAIRS OF THE CITIZENS ARE WE STILL LEAVING IN THE AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL
Keep your greedy fingers off our investments.
I'm very disturbed that FINRA is considering regulations to limit my investment in leveraged and inverse funds. I respectfully submit that I should continue to have the right to choose my investments.
The market has been on a downtrend since early November 2021 and without the inverse ETFs, I would be unable to continue to generate income sufficient to support my retirement. I understand the risks and potential profits with both inverse and leveraged ETFs and I would be devastated to lose these investment tools.
I adamantly believe that EVERY PERSON IN OUR FREE NATION not regulators should be able to choose
the public investments that are right for THEM and THEIR family.
Public investments should be available to all of the public,
not just the privileged. THIS ISN'T CHINA!!!! STOP THE RIDICULOUS OVERREACH!!
Im strongly against restrictions on my right to invest in public investments. Ive invested an appropriate portion of my portfolio in leveraged and inverse funds to enhance my returns and to hedge, when necessary, for decades and its worked well for me. Ive known the potential risks and rewards from day one from any and all investments I invest in. I enjoy reading prospectus and thats what theyre for. Its ridiculous to ask people whove invested in securities for decades to take tests or demonstrate financial well-being for things theyve successfully utilized for years.
We the public should be able to choose our investments without going through any process. Restrictions will restrict my investment strategy.
I have been investing in these ETFs for years. They allow me to diversity and to reduce my risk as I grow older. They also allow me to simplify my investment strategy. Restricting them would greatly dimmish my ability to invest, which I would consider a denial of my freedom to act in my own best interest.
