To whom it may concern,
I know the risks! Let me make my own decisions.
I am an experienced investor and use leveraged ETFs for income and hedging strategies. These products are very important to me as part of a diversified portfolio. Thank you.
We don't need the state meddling in our investments. I suspect this planned regulation is unconstitutional.
I am a retiree, trying to make some extra bucks by investing part of my portfolio in leveraged ETF funds. The extra money helps me to meet the inflated food and energy costs. I am fully aware of the risks involved in these types of funds. I urge the Regulators not to shut investors like me from leveraged funds.
I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family, not regulators. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. Kindly butt out.
Keep markets free
I use a 2X leveraged SSO ETF for my core S&P500 holding, which frees up cash so I can trade a few small positions and hold a bit more cash. I also have used a small position in the inverse leveraged TBT bond ETF to temporarily offset my core bond ETF holdings so I don't need to sell them and then buy them back later. None of this is high risk, and taking this away would hurt my portfolio just a bit.
