I strongly oppose restrictions on my right to invest in public investments such as leveraged and inverse funds. I use these funds as a hedge to help diversify and protect my other investments. Im concerned that government intervention in these financial instruments will destroy their ability to provide safety and protection to my investment portfolio.

I am a seasoned investor of over 50 years. I understand leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. And I do not
need these measures imposed on me when I use them to help with investments or seek enhanced returns
on a very limited part of my overall portfolio.

I strongly support allowing non-Accredited investors to invest in private companies and complex investments. If investor protections are needed for non sophisticated investors, they MUST allow a reasonable method for non-wealthy investors to show expertise and make these Investments!

Restricting complex Investments only to the wealthy and registered Investment Advisors is not acceptable in a democratic society!

I find the possible regulation of my ability to access the entirety of the public securities markets without restriction alarming. I am capable of making sound investment decisions for myself and my family. I am also educated and capable of understanding the risk and ins and outs of investing in inverse and leveraged ETF funds. I do not support these regulations. They are discriminatory and are in direct violation of my rights. It restricts my ability to receive enhanced returns on smaller investments.

I am very concerned that you are thinking of taking away import investing funds from the general public like leveraged and inverse funds. These are important investing products that all investors should have access to trade not just privileged investors. Stop trying to limit what is available to me as an investor. These leveraged and inverse funds are very important to me and many retail investors and our investing strategy.

I should be able to make my own investments and use my own brain. I do not want any Regulators or Bureaucrats supposidely protecting me or watching over my welfare! I will choose my own public investments!

I oppose your attempt to restrict my ability to invest in any way I choose. I am aware of the risks and have the ability to make my own decisions.

May 6 Revised submission: First let me say that I am a Roosevelt supporter (Teddy and FDR), not anti-government. I have traded ProFunds, which offer shorts and leverage, for about ten years. ProFunds is my favorite fund family. I do not care about leverage, but I do care about being able to short (inverse funds). I do not have an advisor or broker, and I never have or will. Common knowledge is that advisors underperform markets by the amount of their fees.
