I'd like to point out your "What We Do" section on your website. Many of retail investors are well aware that you actually do nothing at all in the grand scheme of things. You give out measly fines to make it appear like you're doing your job, when those same institutions that you fined made billions of dollars in profit. You may write rules, but you certainly do not enforce them. You do not foster market transparency. Not even in the slightest. However, you do educate us retail investors.

Hello, I would like to see more transparency and effective regulation (and enforcement) on Short Sale Reporting. As a retail investor, my confidence in our American stock market is very low and leaves me feeling cheated due to these "behind the scenes" loop holes that large corporations and institutions can utilize to benefit themselves through bending the rules through clever exploits and loopholes.

I would like to see all short information to be provided daily. It really puts the retail investor at a huge disadvantage by not having the full picture.

I would like to see a T-0 or next day. We want to be able to see short sale positions in all facets at all times

ENFORCEMENT!!! You can make all the rules in the world but until they are enforced they do no good. And when you do enforce the punishment needs to fit, those guys laugh at the piddly fines they're given! Close the loopholes, SSR is useless and darkpools need to go!

1) The current fines for illegal behavior is an absolute joke. If a HF gains $500 mil illegally and is only fined $250,000 that’s a joke of a fine. The fine should be equal to the amount that was illegally gained and possibly include jail time. Currently, its equivalent to a person robbing a bank for $100 mil and only getting a $5,000 fine and keeping the rest. Absurd! 2) Self reporting is an absolute joke as well. Good luck getting accurate numbers with that! Certain hedge funds have proven they will manipulate the numbers to their benefit.

I would like to see more frequent public reporting of shorting positions and also, more details in the public reports.

T-0 settlement. Real fines or jail time for naked shorting. FTD’s need to be covered or receive at the least a 70% fine. Shut down dark pool trades, they are a huge scam against the retail traders.
