They are hiding over 100 million fake shares in puts in two forms in Brazil. The data for this popped up on a Bloomberg terminal. This is part of the problem, they create fake shares and hide them in puts. Beyond this, if you really would like a fair market we need to have short interest accountability and transparency. They are so over leveraged it is going to collapse the economy as evidenced by NSCC 010

Serialize ALL shares of a stock with block chain. No more synthetic shares and doubles/triple lending etc. They can no longer complain that its tip expensive - it's a fraction of what they're paying in short interest to cover their asses and kick the can down the road. They've created monster - Tame it for the future with blockchain.... - Also - Punish the ones who are naked shorting and intentionally manipulating the price of a stock using shorts and synthetics with JAIL TIME and suspension from trading for the company.

I cannot believe how deep this corruption runs. Honestly, at this point id be hopeful that any number of these committees would do something to level the playong feild here. However judging by lack of action, i have come to one of two conclusions. You're either all corrupt and working together to rob the american public. The people who keep this coubtry running. The people you all considered essential. Or you all dont know how to do your job and dont deserve your postion. Regardless, restore some faith in the american financial system.

Thankfully, we have enough historic data to narrow the amount of possible solutions to the short interest reporting problem. In my view, there are only 2 solutions that will restore integrity in the markets and ensure future stability; 1) Make the ENTIRE system transparent (yes, every trade!) and provide free real-time data to everyone...Result: All market participants can help police the market by either shining light on fraud or taking a counter position.
