I have traded these leveraged and inverse funds for many years. They should be available to all not select few. The test is just another unnecessary bureaucratic hurdle for people who can read and understand the risk. These funds are useful in short term trading as an overnight or 2-3 day vehicle that can be used with less leverage than a futures contract. Your consideration appreciated.

The market was always intended to be in even ground for everyone. Never special trading allowed for some and not others. In the land of liberty, I'm fully capable of deciding my own risks.

Americsn citizens should not be limited on how and what they can spend their money on in the market.

We need action on this to protect us the investing public! We not regulators should be able to choose an investment on what is right for our future and family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. If I am a knowledgeable investor, I should be able to invest without restrictions. This is another area where the government should be trying to take action to protect themselves!

Dear Sirs and Madams: As a former managing director of a broker dealer I can tell you with certainty that regulations for leveraged and inverse ETFs are long past due. Although I have over 45 years of investment experience I was also ill informed about their characteristics and basically lost all of the money in my IRA which I luckily could afford. Now that I understand them I am profiting handsomely by shorting them. In no instances should they be allowed in retirement accounts. They are basically only suitable for day and computer training.

Don't tell me how to invest my funds. I see how poorly the government spends money and I won't let them tell me how to use mine.

I wish to be able to freely trade any public investment, including inverse and leverged funds!
