Larry Weinbrenner Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I should be able to choose any investments that I feel are good for me and my familys financial future without having to go through any special processes, testing and/or approvals from others. I have being using leverage and inverse funds to my advantage especially during very volatile markets. I have been using them to my benefit now since 2018. I presently use these funds and this is an infringement on my freedoms.

Jeff Higby Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I am 72 years old, and have been successfully investing for over 40 years. I seldom use leverage, but I don't see how it is anyone's business but mine as to whether I use it or not. I do regularly use inverse funds when the market is trending down, and this is an important part of my investing strategy. Again, I don't need a group of bureaucrats telling me that I am not "sophisticated" enough to know what I am doing. The SEC is just a bunch of rich people trying to tell the rest of us that we can't use the same strategies they use.

Thomas Chapman Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

To: FINRA Your regulating and limiting investing in leveraged and inverse funds looks like you are giving in pressure from lobbyists. You are not trying to protect individual investors. You are protecting large companies who are making huge profits off folks who dont understand that the advantage of leveraged and inverse funds. I have been using these funds for many years and I dont intend to stop. Large companies have many advantages over us small investors and you are trying to sell out to them. I am not going to accept this without bringing attention to it.

Alfred Fishbeck Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I am opposed to the Subject rule #S7-24-15 This is clearly an infringement on the rights of the people to have the flexibility they need to make the necessary investments needed to reduce risk is a portfolio of investments. Inverse and leverage funds allow a simpler way than using options to protect investments from market changes. They allow it to be done without using margin loans to provide the same type of protection.
