Mauricio Flores Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Dear FINRA Regulators:

I use Public Investments as a tool to build my financial future and that of my family. As an investor I want to have all options available to me and they should be available to others too, at any time, with no restrictions whatsoever. I want to have the right to choose freely what Public Investments to use in my portafolio and assume full responsibility for my investment decisions, since no one but me knows better what is best for me and my family.

As a retail trader, levered and inverse funds make it easier to allocate less capital to execute trades which has been very beneficial. Additionally it allows for a simpler way to get exposure to the options market. There are plenty of disclaimers and agreements before one can purchase those instruments so there's no reason to get rid of them other than to limit the abilities of the retail trader.

As an investor I look at various investment options to create a balance portfolio for my familiys Wealth. I understand that some of these may be riskier than others. I would like the option to decide for myself. If I can buy the product I should be allowed to do so. What will you regulate next the ability to buy high-end cars that may lose value faster than economy compact? By all means you may impose restrictions on a childs ability to buy an investment product. As an adult if I can vote for a president I should be allowed to buy the investment products that I can afford.

Comments:I have used leveraged ETFs for many years. I am very aware of the risks and benefits. They have mostly served me very well because I know when and how to use them. I dont need or want some government bureaucrat, who probably knows nothing about investing, to limit my investment options. The only thing this administration knows how to do is take my hard earned money and give it away.
