Deborah Miller Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I am disturbed that once again the wealthy are being given special privileges when it comes to investing. I should be able to decide if public securities such as leveraged and inverse funds makes sense for my own investment portfolio.

I am perfectly capable of studying and understanding financial instruments and by limiting my access to funds you are limiting my opportunities to provide for my family's future.

May I remind you this is America, the land of personal freedoms. What's next if this passes? Mutual funds are too complex for the average investor? Actively managed funds outlawed, only passive investing in large indices is allowed? For God's Sake, don't impose restrictions that limit my use to enhance whatever index or sector I wish to enhance, just because there are mouth-breathers out there who don't put in the time to understand what they are investing in. This is outrageous!!
