I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me.
I shouldn't have to go through any special process
like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am
capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. I you use leverage and inverse funds to protect my investments and seek enhanced returns for a limited part of my overall portfolio.
I should be able to choose any public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just certain people.

I can accept my own risks in investing.
Dear FINAR, I have been investing leveraged funds like TQQQ, UPRO, UDOW, SOXL,FAS for years. When they were held for long term, these type funds deliver extraordinary results for retail investors like me. As a wager earner and an average American , I see these type funds are only hope to get me to retirement. There are many bad risk assets in you list. The ones I mentioned are not. They are good asset types for retail investor to own. Please do not sway your agency's mission by political agenda.
Making this change will damage my future retirement plans and set me back indefinetly
Leveraged investments are part of my portfolio. Please don't limit my ability to invest in these. They have served me well!
Public investments should be available to all of the public,
not just the privileged.
I utilize these types of funds to offset inherent risk in my portfolio. By limiting access to these types of funds you will force me to manage my retirement portfolio in a much less efficient manner or require me to lower my overall rate of return that is necessary for my wife and my retirements.
I am writing to say how important leveraged funds are to my portfolio. Please allow me to continue to invest in these important funds, as they are part of my investment strategy. I have two masters degrees, one in economicsand I understand the risks/rewards that entail such investments. Additionally, one does not need not pass a test to understand these types of funds - just reading a few articles and descriptions are enough to know whether these investment vehicles are tailored for you.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,
Please leave us the freedom to invest in public securities of our choosing.
