I find it troubling that you are considering making unreasonable restrictions on my ability to invest in leveraged and inverse funds, for several reasons. I should be able to make my own decisions without your blessings, you know nothing about me. Also this will severely hamper my ability to be successful with stock investing. I don't think anyone is more concerned about my financial well being then my self. Please do not consider moving forward with regulatory notice #22-08
Stay out of my investing life.
I strongly oppose setting up special regulations in regards to individuals trading in leveraged and inverse ETFs. They can be an important part of any active investor's portfolio!
As an example, I have a small portion of my net worth invested in inverse ETFs right now. That investment has helped my overall investment account handily beat the overall market so far this year. Am I thinking that I'm going to get rich overnight from this hedge? No. But it is helping offset today's inflation effects.
I should be able to make my own decisions on leverage assets.
The core notion behind this campaign is that retail investors are not knowledgeable enough, intelligent enough or informed enough to decide what to do with are hard earned money. The state already takes from us, in the form of taxes, monies to fund social security and invest those funds in h way congress sees fit. It would seem only fair that what is left for us to invest, be done so by what we believe to be fit. Has the investment world no room for us independent investors making our own independent decisions, based on the information we glean through our due diligence.
I understand the importance of utilizing different hedging strategies and feel any limitations would affect my investment strategy.
Please dont make any changes to products and services that are filling the need of investors. I Oppose limitations to my ability to buy funds, specifically from Pro Shares.
1. I do not want Government Regulators telling me what to do in deciding my or my family's investments.
2. Why should I pass a test to invest, I am not brokering securities!
3. Leveraged and Inverse Funds are part of my Investment Strategies!
4. What FINRA is proposing is what I would expect from a Communist Government!
Please allow us to trade regulating the little guy will not help. This isnt necessary!
