Should the sale of scratch tickets be regulated ? or the purchase of antiques , or coins ? Maybe the Stock market or 401k's ? I don't think restrictions on trading Crypto's is healthy for the Crypto Market or my investments in it .
Comments: I believe that access to leveraged and inverse funds has helped me hedge my portfolio. Without these products my portfolio would slide to zero. Do not make any changes in this volatile environment. There is no need to enhance any rules.
Do not restrict or disqualify my right to trade these products.
The purpose is short term active hedging.
Brokerage firms provide sufficient disclosure.
Do not change liquidity or margin requirements either.
In short keep everything the same.
Thanks
I want to express my concerns about the new restrictions being
planned on investments
The small investors should be able to assess where they invest their money and not have to pass any criteria that disadvantages them versus the big investors.
It is my right to decide what I invest in. Even if I dont have a lot to invest and even if I make a mistake. It is no ones business but my own and that is true for everyone. We dont need anymore overreach by the powerful in this country.
I oppose restrictions on my right to invest in public investments. I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before to invest in public securities, like leveraged funds. I am capable of understanding the leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. So I do not need any measures imposed on me.
Thanks You !
Do you understand the concept of freedom? People MUST have complete freedom and accept responsibility for their actions. The job of government is to protect that freedom, not restrict people, even if they believe its for their own good, not act like all-knowing parents forcing their immature constituents to conform to what they know is best.
Let everyone invest
Please dont regulate it
I feel the current requirements for self-directed investors are sufficient and no more restrictions are needed. It is the responsibility of the investor to be knowledgeable in the tools which they invest in. The underlying premise that retail investors do not know what they are doing is flawed. What we need is less control and not more. I do not want to be forced into taking services from industry professionals, especially when the professional investor is so regulated and restricted in the first place. Every investor should understand that they can lose money.
